Every year when the rainy season comes, there is always a storm. Depression, depression and storms are expected in the Bay of Bengal. They would have announced a name for the storm that will not be forgotten.

Most of the storms that blow around the world year after year can cause great damage. These names are used to record details of storm damage and precautionary measures. Naming of storms has been the norm in India since 2004.
The International Center for Meteorological Research, based in Geneva, Switzerland, monitors global climate. 191 countries are members of this organization. This system divides the world into 7 climatic zones. India is located in the "North Indian Ocean" region. Eight countries including India, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Maldives, Pakistan, Oman, Sri Lanka and Thailand are included in the region.
These eight countries have prepared a list of eight names. A total of 64 names are listed. Names are selected from this table when storms form in the Indian Ocean. It is monitored by the Indian Meteorological Department. Names are placed from the list in chronological order during each storm.
he name Gajah was suggested by Sri Lanka. The list of storms released in 2004 ended with Hurricane Amban. Following this, a list of 64 names has been compiled for storms that will form from 2020 onwards. Under that list comes the names of all of the Nivar, Purevi storms.
