A festival to eat dog food ..! Where ..?

Where is a dog curry festival?

More than 10,000 dogs are planned to be slaughtered for meat at a dog festival in China.

The annual dog festival is held in Yulin, Guangxi Province, China.  The festival has been strongly opposed by animal welfare activists around the world.  This is because of the animals sacrificed at this festival.

This year’s Yule Dogfight Festival kicks off on the 21st.  For about a week this doggy festival will take place in a terrifying way.  Dogs will be sold alive at the festival.  Dogs for sale can be slaughtered there or roasted alive and given to customers for free as meat.

The festival has been going on for the last 10 years.  The Chinese believe that eating dog curries in the summer in China is good for the body.

Why this festival?

People from the Yulin community living in China's Guangxi province have been enthusiastically celebrating the Dog Curry Festival since 2010 to protect themselves from spirits and deadly diseases.  If there is one festival in the world that is the most stupid, it could be this festival.

The dog festival in China is not an illegal act.  Further

Since there is no animal welfare in China, the people there consume no animals.  And the Chinese government is having fun watching the Yule community steal thousands of dogs in trucks. As well as sacrificing dogs and cats depending on their traditional beliefs are also taking the stage.

But animal welfare activists accuse the dogs of being stolen for sale at the festival.

It is also alleged that the dogs were brutally locked up in cages and brought to Yulin.  Likewise, not only dogs but also cat food will be available at this festival.  Animal welfare activists have been campaigning on social media to demand a ban on the festival.  But the Chinese are getting ready for the doggie festival without worrying about anything.

So 10 thousand dogs are ready to be sacrificed in this meat festival.  For this purpose the dogs were largely stolen and brought in cages to the city of Yulin.
