Medicine Watching Robot. - மருத்துவம் பார்க்கும் ரோபோ.

ஜார்ஜியா நாட்டைச் சேர்ந்த பர்ரே என்ற இன்ஜினியர் அவரது நண்பர்களுடன் சேர்ந்து டெலிடேக் டைல் ஹேன்ட் (teletactile hand)  என்ற தொலை தூரத்திலிருந்து இயக்கம் ரோபோவை தயாரித்துள்ளனர். இந்த ரோபோவில், மருத்துவர் இருக்கும் இடத்தில் வீடியோ மானிட்டர் திரை இருக்கும். இதனுடன் மின்சாரத்தால் இயக்கப்படும் சிறுகம்பி (joy-stick) இணைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

மருத்துவர் பிரத்தியோகமான கையுறையை அணிந்துகொண்டு, மின்சாரத்தால் இயக்கப்படும் அந்தக் கம்பியின் மேல் தனது உள்ளங்கையை வைப்பார். அப்போது  மற்றொரு முனையில் ரோபோவிற்கு முன்னாள் அமர்ந்திருக்கும் நோயாளியின் உடலை, அந்த ரோபோவின் மெல்ல பரிசோதிக்கத் தொடங்கும். நோயாளியின் உடல் வெப்பம், திசுக்களின் வடிவம், திசுக்களின் உறுதித் தன்மை, நோயாளியின் இதயத்துடிப்பு, இப்படி எல்லா விஷயங்களையும் தொலைதூரத்தில் உள்ள மானிடர் திரைக்கு முன்னாள் அமர்ந்திருக்கும் மருத்துவருக்கு தெரிவிக்கும்.

ரோபோ சொல்லும் செய்தியை மருத்துவர் புரிந்துகொண்டு நோயாளிக்கு சிகிச்சைக்கான ஆலோசனைகளை சொல்லுவார். இனி எல்லா நாடுகளிலும் இந்த மாதிரியான சிகிச்சைமுறை சர்வசாதரணமாக இருக்கும் என்கிறார் இந்த சிகிச்சை முறையை உருவாக்கிய பர்ரே. பர்ரே சொல்வதுபோல இந்த நவீன யுகத்தில் எல்லாம் சாத்தியமே..!
